Anne Elisabeth Kokkinn is an acclaimed Norwegian and English speaking actress. She was born in Oslo, Norway, but spent early years of her childhood in Venezuela. When returning to Norway with her Australian mother and Norwegian father, she started her career playing Little Edith in Piaf by Pam Gems at the age of eight. At eleven she was cast as Hedvig in The Wild Duck by Henrik Ibsen, and at the age of 21 starred as Duchess Ingebjørg in the film Kristin Lavransdatter directed by Liv Ullmann.
Anne has a Bachelor of Arts from The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London UK. Classically trained originally, she has proven herself to be a versatile actress covering a broad spectrum of genres. Anne has starred in numerous theatre productions displaying her diversity and originality. She is an experienced actress with more than 50 theatre-, film-, television- and radio productions to her credit. Anne is also associated with independent groups and other theatrical and film projects.
Anne was engaged at Theatre Ibsen for three and a half years starring in a variety of productions. Amongst these, Rosmersholm (Ibsen). This same production also played in New Delhi, India. Anne was a valued participant in The Grand Tour of Ibsen where she played a selection of youthful Henrik Ibsen characters. Anne has also received high acclaim for her portrayal of the female roles; of which she played all, for the production The Blue Room by David Hare.

Pr i dag har hun erfaring med mer enn 50 teater, tv og radio produksjoner. Hun har vært engasjert ved mange av landets teatre og tilknyttet flere frie grupper og scenekunstproduksjoner. Anne var også med å starte Teatergruppen Avslørte Bondepiker.
Anne var ansatt ved Teater Ibsen i tre og et halvt år og i den forbindelse spilte hun Rebekka i Hvite hester/Rosmersholm, som ble spilt bl.a. i New Delhi, India. Hun spilte også alle kvinneroller i Blått Rom/The Blue Room av David Hare.
